Sleeping at Last – South – Ukulele Chords

My semi-obsession with Sleeping at Last continues. So I had thrown my love on at little quiet track with just ukulele and song, but all I could find were guitar chords, which were not all the way correct, so I made my own version. Learn the Sleeping at Last South ukulele chords here.

This is such a beautiful song. The crispness of the ukulele strings, the way the vocal melds into the harmonies of the chords, and the lyrics really strikes a chord with me.

I think that the lyrics is one of the things that really attracts me to to Sleeping at Last’s songs. On top of that Ryan O’Neal’s emotional delivery really makes you ponder on what those words mean.

No matter what category you fit into, truth’s got its sight set on you

In the end truth will always get you. Whether it is good or bad, because in the end we all have to pay for our actions.

Some truths are gentle, forgiving and kind
Some truths are hard to define
Some truths are crooked, with rough edges too
But some truths wear like comfortable shoes

It’s really very simple and very beautiful. I haven’t written down the strumming patterns, so just listen to the song and you learn how it is done.
