Elan's Lag Monior monitors your current connection to an Ultima Online shard of your choice. It will always provide visual feedback from it's icon in the Notification Icon tray.
It will alert you if you are starting to experience packet loss to the chosen server. |
Auto-magic connection tracking.
Elan's Lag Monitor will ping a shard of your choice. You can set how often to ping. A higher ping will give more accurate results, but will mean a higher network through-put. If you are on dial-up we recommend not setting the Ping higher than medium.
The ping averages given are based on pings from the last 30 seconds, to give you an idea how your current connection to the shard is doing. | | In the "Ping" menu you can set how often to ping. Here's an explaination how often Elan's Lag Monitor will ping on the different levels:
- Slow = Once per second
- Medium = Once every ½ second
- Fast = Every 150 ms.
- Agressive = Every 50 ms.
